 Lakewood Organic Pure Carrot Juice

Description & taste: This juice is pressed from organic carrots (and a small amount of organic lemon juice for pH/preservation) — “18 to 20 fresh carrots in every bottle”.

 Taste: It’s more “vegetal” and mild-sweet than fruit juices — you’ll get the natural sweetness of carrot, maybe a hint of earthy flavour, and less “oomph” than a fruity juice.
Why it’s good:

• Carrots are high in beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor), vitamin K, B6, and other micronutrients. 

• Because it’s vegetable-based, it gives a different nutritional profile (more of the carotenoids) vs typical fruit juices.
  Use tip: Great as a morning boost, or mixed with another milder juice (apple, orange) or in smoothies for extra carrot-derived nutrients.
